Rozaliya Olenyeva is the older sister of Liliya Olenyeva,^[5] who grew up in the same orphanage as Bronya Zaychik and Seele Vollerei.

Appearance

Rozaliya has flamingo-pink hair^[9] and thick eyebrows of the same color. Her big, cyan eyes are highlighted by a pink eyeliner. Her oval pupils are white in the middle and have neon pink borders. She has a "cute little fang". Her rose inspired clothes are mostly white with varying shades of pink. She wears a hairpiece with two star-like decorations on the left side of her head. A ribbon is pinned just below her horn.

As a side effect of fusing with a Honkai Beast, Rozaliya has a spiral, white-pink horn on the right side of her head and a long, mostly white tail. At the end of her tail is a pink gripper with three fingers, which she can use to carry her weapon or perform specialized attacks during battles.

Rozaliya shares her height with Liliya Olenyeva and Seele Vollerei however, just like Liliya's, her horn adds a bit to her height.^[10]

Different outfits may change the appearance of her horn and the gripper, questioning their validity.

Story

Ever since she was young, Rozaliya Olenyeva had wanted to become strong enough to protect her weak and sickly younger sister, Liliya. After accepting the "treatment" of the magic doctor,^{[citation needed]} she obtained horns and tail, and finally—enough strength to protect Liliya.^[5] Rozaliya and Liliya then became a famous (self-proclaimed) star group called the "Vodka Girls", despite only having preformed once at Cocolia's Orphanage. After their initial performance, they refused to give any information about any subsequent events or plans.^[1]

Currently, she, along with her little sister, Liliya Olenyeva, are training to become Valkyries under Theresa Apocalypse's teaching and idols under Shigure Kira's guidance.

Chapter X

Rozaliya first appears in Chapter X alongside her sister on an island near The Deep as they are defeating Honkai Beasts. Rozaliya mentions having defeated twenty Honkai Beasts before Liliya and getting Liliya's dinner cupcake as a prize. However, Liliya knew that Rozaliya would win their deal and ate her dinner ahead of time, prompting Rozaliya to accuse her of cheating^[11] before she notices Bronya, who she excitedly goes to hug upon realization. She informs Bronya that Cocolia gave her and Liliya their tails after Bronya notices Rozaliya's tail. After this, Liliya then reminds her of their mission to escort Bronya and the rest.^[9] Rozaliya lastly introduces herself and Liliya before they set off to The Deep.^[6]

As they reach The Deep, Rozaliya helps explain the situation to the group, though Schicksal Valkyries attack midway.^[12] After the battle, Rozaliya surprises Bronya following her tour of The Deep, revealing that it is their new home that she refuses to let Schicksal destroy. Following another attack, Rozaliya compliments Theresa for her strength, given her physique. She sniffs Theresa, trying to determine if she can sense her age, but all she smells is the scent of bitter melon.^[13]

The next day, at 11:00 on the Hyperion, Rozaliya greets Lieserl Albert Einstein with a good morning before she and Liliya are taken outside to play by Bronya. When outside, Rozaliya reveals that she and Liliya had become the Vodka Girls of Siberia and wanted to perform a skit for Bronya, as the latter didn't want to play hide-and-seek.^[14] Liliya adds the truth in between Rozaliya's lines, stating that they were renowned only in Cocolia's Orphanage and performed just once a year for their friends. This causes Bronya to wish to play hide-and-seek again.^[15] While playing, the twins lose to Bronya, with Rozaliya agreeing to perform the skit "Vodka Does Not Believe in Tears" that she had written as promised. Yet, just a bit through the first act of the skit, Bronya admits to wanting to play hide-and-seek again instead.^[16] After criticizing the play, Rozaliya, Liliya, and Bronya burst into laughter together, with Rozaliya saying she hadn't felt so great in a long time as she reminisces over life at the orphanage. She then asks Bronya if she has time, wanting to show her a place.^[17]

Rozaliya and Liliya bring Bronya to an island cut off from The Deep, and Rozaliya tells her that they've been on the run from Schicksal for four months and went to the ruins of The Deep. Rozaliya remarks that the new home felt like heaven to her. The group destroys a mass of enemies before continuing. Onwards, the twins lead Bronya to a clearing with three different groups of rocks stacked on top of each other—acting as tombstones.^[18] Rozaliya apologizes to Bronya for not telling her, as she wanted Bronya to say hello to their old friends herself. When Bronya questions Rozaliya, she informs her of what had happened since Bronya left the orphanage. The group then kneels together until Cocolia shows up, surprising them all.^[19]

Once Bronya leaves, Rozaliya and Liliya rush after her, asking if she was alright. They agree to head back to The Deep, though Liliya collapses before they get going, having to be caught by Rozaliya.^[20] She then explains the situation to Bronya: the twins had encountered a swarm of Honkai Beasts in the past and were fatally injured. They only survived because Cocolia found a doctor who treated them. However, the treatment resulted in the twins developing horns and tails as a side effect, alongside Liliya's collapsing.^[21] She tells Bronya of Cocolia's reaction to her and Seele, clarifying that she and Liliya had stayed with Cocolia for her sake and because Rozaliya had her own wants in mind.^[22]

Before Bronya enters the Sea of Quanta, Cocolia instructs Rozaliya and Liliya to assist her in entering The Deep, but she tells them not to enter the Sea themselves.^[23] They defeat endless enemies, and Rozaliya starts to become dizzy after a while, showing signs of the Sea's influence^[24] as she continues fighting.^[25] However, through the Eye of the Deep, the Honkai Beast Tlaloc makes an appearance before vanishing into the Sea of Quanta. As the Eye closes, Bronya leaps in after it, with Rozaliya yelling after her.^[26]

Chapter XII

Despite Rozaliya's worry at Bronya's disappearance, Theresa and the twins continue to battle the Honkai in The Deep.^[27] Theresa and Liliya calm Rozaliya, resolving her to continue fighting for Theresa and Cocolia.^[28] But while doing so, Gray Serpent shoots Cocolia, which makes Rozaliya prioritize saving Cocolia despite being told to run. After the two Gray Serpents transform into Honkai Beasts, Rozaliya calls them ripoffs before battling them.^[29] Liliya urges her to leave, but she refuses due to wanting to help Cocolia. Gray Serpent tells her to leave as well, saying he didn't like to hurt his kind, angering Rozaliya as he recounts her past to her, the similarities between them, and talks poorly of Cocolia.^[30]

While distracted, the two Gray Serpents proceeded to fuse into one and grab after Rozaliya; however, Liliya pushed Rozaliya aside, finding herself captured instead. The fused Gray Serpents then throw Liliya into their mouth.^[31] Rozaliya reacts in anger before the fused Gray Serpents go after her as well. Theresa attempts to calm Rozaliya but fails, as Rozaliya ruminates over Liliya not being at her side.^[32] The two continue to fight carefully until Cocolia drops a Titan in front of Rozaliya, with Cocolia asking Theresa to take Rozaliya to safety while she buys them time. Theresa refuses, intent on saving both of the twins.^[33] With this, she tries talking to Rozaliya again, telling her that Liliya was still alive within the Honkai Beast. Rozaliya is then able to smell Liliya's scent and locates her.^[34] She then receives a plan from Theresa for Rozaliya to perform a precise cut after the fused Gray Serpents are immobilized, allowing her to open their carapace and matrix. However, Rozaliya is hesitant at hearing the plan, believing Liliya to be better at precision than her. Theresa reassures her, and the two continue into battle.^[35]

Once Theresa immobilizes the Gray Serpents, Rozaliya considers the situation and feels nervous in the absence of Liliya. She resolves to save Liliya no matter what, believing they're to be together forever. With determination,^[36] she then runs over to the Honkai Beast, calling upon her greatsword. Yet, the fused Gray Serpents manage to break free just before she strikes. The Gray Serpents swipe at Rozaliya^[37] but miss, with her claiming she knew she'd be attacked, and she then delivers the cut, successfully freeing Liliya.^[38]

When Rozaliya and Liliya visit Bronya at the end of the chapter, Rozaliya kicks open the door and throws herself at Bronya. She scolds Bronya for jumping into the Sea of Quanta and inadvertently hurts her in the process. Einstein then enters the room, kicking the twins out.^[39]

A few days later at the Far East border, Rozaliya, Liliya, and Seele greet Bronya after her talk with Welt Yang. With Liliya, Rozaliya asks Bronya questions, but Bronya only responds to one of them. Rozaliya reacts with disappointment before announcing that she and Liliya were going to become Theresa's sidekicks and be taught how to use the Honkai within themselves.^[40] Liliya adds on, saying that they would also be there to help with Cocolia's Orphanage, and Rozaliya states that it feels lonely without Sin Mal. Later on, Rozaliya speculates about Theresa's age once more before agreeing with Theresa's speech about the future. She then goes on to say that they could start working later and play today, causing Bronya to laugh.^[41] The four end up playing hide-and-seek together.^[42]

Personality

Rozaliya is an outspoken and showmen-like person, she's usually more competitive and positive than Liliya.

Trivia

• Rozaliya says that the name "Molotov Cherry" originated from a mixed drink, but she never drank it, so she didn't know what it was. It must be as sweet and delicious as the cherry on the birthday cake that can be eaten once a year. Rozaliya rubbed the saliva that was about to flow down and began to complain for one hundred times why Liliya had to celebrate her birthday so that she can eat more cakes.^[43]
