    • Raven (originally named Natasha Cioara) was born in Siberia.[5] Following the Second Honkai War, in which she gained strong Honkai resistance, she was selected by the Gray Serpent and was forced to leave her brother behind. Natasha received training and became a mercenary subject to the World Serpent.

    Appearance

    Natasha has short black hair with an ahoge and magenta eyes. She also has a mole under her mouth.

    She wears a black bodysuit with three finger claws on her right hand and a black cape with a magenta interior.

    Story

    Second Eruption

    Main article: Second Eruption

    In 2000, when the core of the Herrscher of the Void was out of control, a huge amount of Honkai energy overwhelmed the entirety of Siberia and caused its people to become corrupted. Thanks to the sacrifice of Cecilia Schariac, most people, including Cioara and her brother, had survived under the protection of the Holy Blood of Schariac. However, Cioara gained resistance to Honkai and was taken away by the Gray Serpent, and was trained as a combatant of World Serpent. Her appearance underwent many changes during that time and she'd be given the codename "Raven".

    Creating the Roost

    After the Third Honkai Eruption in 2014, Raven found some children with incomplete stigmata marks in the ruins of Nagazora. She taught the children how to survive in the rubble, and they called her "sensei". Every month or two, Raven would return to Nagazora with supplies and medicine and tell them to live well. The children couldn't survive in the safe, outside world, where Honkai levels were much lower, due to their incomplete stigmata, and Raven would be spending years planning where to move them.

    London Holiday

    In 2015, she went to London with Jackal to prevent Otto Apocalypse and his team from obtaining the 2nd Divine Key.

    However, Jackal ended up being directly confronted by Otto, and Raven had no choice but to use the 3rd Divine Key to destroy Otto's avatar and help Jackal escape. They eventually returned without success as Schicksal would lay their hands on the 2nd Divine Key.

    Chapter XIII

    Raven made her in-game debut, where she spoke with Jackal about K-423's appearance in Arc City. Raven planned to let Schicksal agents pursue K-423 while she and Jackal began Project Stigma.[10] She then disguised herself to be a consultant based in the Shenzhou branch of Heliopolis, using only her last name, and guided Rita Rossweisse during her visit at Heliopolis. During this, she described Heliopolis' history to Rita while praising Schicksal for their immense help.[11] The two soon got to business, where Raven reluctantly agreed to give Rita private health records and asked her if a lone ranger in the city was one of theirs.[12] She explains the appearance and situation of the lone ranger to Rita, who believes in the ranger's existence.[13]

    She appears again later when Rita trespasses into Heliopolis, breaking their treaty.[14] She talks with Jackal beforehand about the Valkyrie's suspicions and makes up a backup plan. The two agree that, once Raven makes her move, the test must start. Raven then questions the test itself, and Jackal reassures her that it's for the whole of humanity.[15] Once Rita finds out about Project Stigma, she criticizes it until Raven makes her entrance, suddenly appearing on a giant screen.[16] She condemns Schicksal for breaking their treaty and says that the price would be their Valkyrie's lives, releasing zombies and beasts around Rita.[17]

    However, the beasts and zombies soon fall as Raven releases a gas made from the anti-Honkai serum HSN-B46, which was modified by World Serpent to enter the body via skin exposure. She then deploys mechs to go after Rita alongside the Death Web, a specialized Valkyrie slayer.[18] Raven then taunts Rita until Kiana Kaslana shows up and fights beside her, and they make their escape to the rooftop, where Rita uses an EOS shuttle to crash into the building, ending the fight.[19]

    Personality

    As a mercenary, Natasha is a practical individual with a no-nonsense attitude, who believes in a strict work ethic in which a job is a job and must be accomplished to its fullest in spite of any personal reservations or dangers to herself. Befitting of a mercenary, Natasha holds no true loyalty to any cause or faction besides whoever's paying top dollar—which most often happens to be the very organization that raised her. Natasha also holds a great sense of respect for the Sire of World Serpent.

    Natasha has been shown to have a penchant for dry humor, fine alcohol, and the occasional philosophizing. But perhaps the most surprising part of this ruthless mercenary is her caring nature, possessing a soft spot for children displaced by the Honkai with nowhere to go, much like herself when she was taken in by World Serpent. Natasha takes in many such children under her care and tutelage, and although she sees to it that they are taught how to survive on their own, above all else she tries to make sure that they are able to live their lives as comfortably as possible with a place to call home. The well-being of these children is where her real loyalty lies.
