Amber, also known as A-303, was one of the only living A3 clone series created by Otto Apocalypse in an attempt to resuscitate Kallen Kaslana back in 1972. Unlike A1 and A2, the A3 clone series had Honkai Beast Vishnu's genes implemented. All A3 clone series stopped physically growing at twelve years of age.[4] After her creation, she was made to fight another A3 test subject, A-310, with the reward of being given a name.[5] A-310 ends up winning, but spares A-303 at the last moment, refusing to kill another human.[6]

- ↑ Amber's race is arguably incorrectly localized as "android" in the English translation. While the Japanese term 人造人間 (lit. artificial human) and the Chinese 仿生人 (lit. bionic human) could be translated to android, within the sci-fi genre, the word android is generally associated with robots that are made to mimic humans in appearance and/or behavior. Both Amber and Theresa were created as entities with flesh and blood and the full extend of Amber's augmentations isn't known thus far. Considering her adult-presenting stature going against Theresa's feature of being unable to age naturally and the damage she received during 2nd Eruption, it's fair to assume a significant portion of her body is now mechanical, but it's a point of dispute whether or not that'd justify calling her an android since she did almost die during her encounter with the Prince of Serenity Galina after her protective mask was taken off, possibly signaling that her organs are still made of live tissue.
