    Ajita is a part of the Seven Shus, being the second member to join,[12] titled the Shu of Gadgets.[10] She is renowned as a collector of rare, magical artifacts lost to time.[3]

    Appearance

    Ajita is a beautiful[7] woman with short brown hair that fades into purple. Her eyes are orange and red, with swept bangs mostly covering one eye. She wears plenty of golden accessories, such as earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Her outfit consists of black and purple, with white fabric sweeping over her chest.

    Story

    Part 2 Chapter II

    Main article: Part 2 Chapter II

    Dreamseeker and the others attempt to wake Ajita,[10] but they have difficulty locating her sleeping place, as she has cast an illusional spell around her resting spot[3] using her abilities as a Shu. Duonigue eventually finds her sleeping place at the request of Songque,[13] however, once she removes the illusion and they enter, they're led to the Sea of Data.[14] The group continues until they eventually find Ajita's corpse lying on the ground.[7]

    Based off the Sea of Quanta's fluctuations, Coralie 6626 Planck judged that Ajita had been deceased for some time before their arrival, including when "Lantern" visited her.[7]

    Part 2 Chapter III

    Main article: Part 2 Chapter III

    Part 2 Chapter III reveals that, a hundred years ago, Ajita and Baiji attempted to contain the Ten Faces of Misery within a Zodiac Astral Ring to end the shadow calamities.[15] The Zodiac Astral Ring shattered into seven fragments, each still containing the power of the original Zodiac Astral Ring.[16] Once counterfeits were made to contain their power, Baiji decided to distribute the seven fragments to those he deemed had exceptional talents, creating the Shus, which was originally a contingency plan made up by him and Ajita.[17] After hearing about Baiji's plan, Ajita intended to leave but was stopped by him. He then presented her with the second Astral Ring and the title of Shu of Gadgets.[12]

    Part 2 EX Chapter 3

    Ajita first appears when Vita is eavesdropping on her and Theresa Apocalypse's conversation about the Dreamseeker System. Ajita reveals that she created the Dreamseeker System after the conclusion of Sector One, following Leylah's demand for the quantum computer to be made. In exchange, Leylah gave Ajita unrestricted access to witness the entire dream-seeking journey and to provide her with unlimited work.[11]

    Ajita then ends up spotting Vita and calls her over for a conversation.[18] When Vita tries to persuade her way out of the conversation, she ends up failing.[19]

    Part 2 Chapter XI

    Main article: Part 2 Chapter XI

    Ajita is briefly mentioned as having searched for Vita in the system but having failed to find her. She'd also tried to analyze the feather left by Vita in the Sea of Data but couldn't gain anything from it despite using various methods of analysis.[20]

    Personality

    Ajita is acts as a helpful collector in the Seven Shus, earning her title as the Shu of Gadgets.[12] She's willing to be friends with those who she can have a mutually beneficial relationship with,[5] and she had an interest in Langqiu that was later lost according by Baiji.[9] She is also very smart, remarking herself to be a genius.[11]
