Jack Frost (Russian: Ледовик) are one of the six common types of Snowland Fae.[1]

Intricately Patterned Buttons, which can be exchanged for various items at the Jack Frosts' Goodies Shop.
Overview
Like other Snowland Fae, the Jack Frosts were created by the Hyperboreans as part of their effort to create a race that could surpass humans.[2] There appear to be "adult" and "juvenile" Jack Frosts, but it is unclear how they reproduce, if at all.
Most Jack Frosts are similar in intelligence to cats.[3] As a result, they cannot speak or write human languages and mainly communicate by saying "ya-ho", making gestures, and drawing shapes. Some individuals, like the Jack Frost Village Head, are more intelligent and can communicate by writing simple words.[4]
Jack Frosts are naturally playful and mischievous, and they enjoy pranks and playing with humans.[3][5] They particularly value buttons (or "bite-ons"), which they consider pretty and wearable — unlike Mora — and will give them to humans that they like.[4]
Though they appear to be made of snow, Jack Frosts can tolerate high-temperature environments with some discomfort at most.[3] Their bodies can also withstand significant compression with no lasting damage.[4]
Story
The homeland of the Jack Frosts is Jack Frost Village, a hidden[6] settlement north of Fellfrost Peak. Their village became the target for a gang of Volkodlak thugs who would steal their goods from the village's shop and would cause damage to the village. Thanks to the arrival of Traveler and Paimon, the Jack Frosts were able to fend off the Volkodlak and live in peace.
Appearance
Jack Frosts generally look like short, squat snowmen with two round, glove-like hands floating at their sides. They have small orange eyes, blue cheeks, and "3"-shaped mouths with two small, sharp teeth.
Adult Jack Frosts have a pair of stubby legs and a small, spherical tail. They often wear decorative hats made of ice, snow, and/or fabric. Juvenile Jack Frosts have no visible legs and are encased in a spherical "eggshell". When rolling around, their "shells" close up completely, giving them the appearance of a large snowball.
Lumi, Linnea's Jack Frost companion, has a unique appearance due to her affinity for Geo.
