Snegovik

Snegovik (Russian: Снеговик Snegovik, "Snowman") are one of the six common types of Snowland Fae.[1] The female individuals of this fae type are commonly referred to as Snegurochka (Russian: Снегурочка Snegurochka, "Snow Maiden").[2][3]
Overview
Like all other Snowland Fae, the Snegovik were created as servants for the Hyperboreans.[4] They were made specifically for "companionship," and their souls are incomplete by nature: only by falling in love with a human and taking that person's soul can they become whole.[2][5][6]
They are ruled by the Grand Duchess of the Snegurochka, who resides at the House of Hesperides.
Male Snegovik are natural-born knights, most of them able to forge weapons from ice and snow at will.[7] Snegurochka are born as mages who wield the power of ice and snow and can manipulate Prime Ice.[5]
Today, the Snegovik are among the most numerous fae in Snezhnaya and live across the whole nation.[8]
Appearance
Snegovik are humanoid in appearance, with pale white skin, glowing ice-blue eyes, and hair that ranges from bluish-gray to white. Like other fae, they bear blue crystalline markings on their bodies, predominately on their lower legs, faces, hair ends, and necklines.
Female Snegurochka have blue fingertips and most have crystal markings on their faces that resemble tears. They typically wear knee-length, off-the-shoulder dresses or gowns decorated with intricate patterns in varying shades of blue. Most also wear a kokoshnik headpiece, though the style differs between individuals.
Male Snegovik are roughly twice as tall as humans. Blue crystals grow from their heads, forming their ears, beards, and a horn-like spike on the forehead. Their right forearm is encased in ice crystals resembling a gauntlet. They wear quilted gambesons beneath heavy fur-collared coats and bulky steel-toed boots. In keeping with their role as knights, they also wear pieces of heavy silver armor over the chest and left forearm.
