The Starshyna is the leader of the Lightkeepers.
The current Starshyna is Nikita. He inherited the position from his predecessor, Sigurd, after the latter fell in battle against the Wild Hunt about a decade ago.[1][2]

Trivia
Etymology
- "Starshina" (Russian: Старшина) is a senior military rank or designation in the military forces and a historical military designation. Since the 1930s in the Soviet and later Russian army terminology, a starshina has been equivalent to "Sergeant Major" (Most senior member at the company level.)
- The word is derived from the Russian root стар "old".
