Hiisi Island

Hiisi Island is an area located in Nod-Krai. It is also a part of the Southern Isles

It is the home of the Frostmoon Scions, a religious sect devoted to the Goddess of the New Moon. Under their stewardship, much of the island remains an untouched wilderness.

Silvermoon Hall	Silvermoon Hall is the current hiding place of Columbina following her departure from the Fatui. The player gains access to it during step 4 of the Archon Quest Reunion Beneath the Moonlight in Song of the Welkin Moon: Act I - A Dance of Snowy Tides and Hoarfrost Groves.

Lore

According to Helka, there are relics on the island that appear to have similar designs as Secret Source technology, though all of them seem to be inactive or no longer working.^[1]

After departing from the Fatui and her position as the Third of the Eleven Harbingers, Columbina is currently seeking refuge somewhere near Hiisi Island,^[2] prompting the Fatui to issue the "Palestar Edict" to retrieve her regardless of the cost.^[3]

Etymology

Hiisi is a term in Finnic mythologies (notably Finnish and Estonian), originally denoting sacred natural localities and various types of mythological entities. In Estonia, a hiis is mostly thought of as a sacred grove of trees, although many places were also giant rocks, rivers or springs.
- In Christian-influenced folklore, they are depicted as demonic or trickster-like entities.
In the Kalevala, a culturally significant national epic of Finland and Karelia, Hiisi is one of the two demon cohorts of Lempo, the other one being Paha.
A moon of a minor planet 47171 Lempo is also called Hiisi, and its only other known moon is called Paha.
