Sacrifices are a type of Enemy the player can encounter during combat in Zenless Zone Zero.
Description
Profile
Sacrifices are a special type of Ether Active entity capable of operating outside the Hollow. Their creation is the result of human manipulation.[1] They were once people that have trascended their humanity by attaining the Refinement sought by The Exaltists. There is only one known way to turn into a Sacrifice: by injecting oneself with Sacrifice Serum.[2] Landon created the early version of the Sacrifice Serum, however it was still unstable.[3]
Sacrifices have a "core" which, alongside the Sacrifice Serum, can be used to create Sacrifices that obey orders.[4]
Sacrifices resemble Ethereals, but unlike corrupted entities, they retain their sense of self and their memories,[2] making them extremely dangerous enemies, with the strength and Ether affinity of Ethereals paired with the cunning and strategical knowledge of humans.
