Geography.

Planarcadia, also known as Ahatopia, and formerly as Benzaitengoku,^[4] is the sixth accessible world in Honkai: Star Rail. It can be accessed upon completing Trailblaze Mission chapter As Tomorrow Became Yesterday.

The planet is the host of the Phantasmoon Games, in which the victor is granted the authority of Aha the Elation for one minute.

Description

Ahatopia, a celestial body located in the Consternation Starzone. Legend has it that in the distant past, Aha, the Aeon of Elation, created a living Phantasmoon to serve as a stage for Fools and performers, establishing numerous civilizations including the ancient civilization of Benzaitengoku. Whenever the Phantasmoon waxes full, the Phantasmoon Games held in the name of communing with the Aeon begin as scheduled. The victor shall receive the Aeon's blessing and be granted the divine power of Elation.

Then, the army of the Destruction swept across the Consternation Starzone, reducing countless worlds to scorched wastelands. This place was no exception. Fortunately, an artist performed a miracle, capturing the entire world within a "painting scroll" and ultimately saving all lives from annihilation.

Long after, the returning survivors attempted to rebuild their homeland. Under the operation of the "Worlds Reborn Initiative," the Interastral Peace Corporation used the Punklordian aether editing technology to salvage worlds hidden within flattened paintings back into reality, and dispatched an executive to serve as the CEO of "Planarcadia," making it an important asset planet for the IPC.

Thanks to the unique imagenesis art thriving locally, Planarcadia's native culture has flourished magnificently, and the entertainment it creates has spread far and wide across the cosmos. Only in this arcadia built by both humans and imagenae can your wishes circulate as universal currency.

Once upon a time, the Astral Express crashed on the shores of Ahatopia, then entered the painting along with the world, with the reasons and details of its crash lost to history. But years later, the abandoned Astral Express was repaired and set sail once more. Under the leadership of its navigator, Himeko, it embarked on the Trailblaze journey anew.

Yes, this is the legendary place where the Astral Express restarted its journey. May Akivili watch over us, just as Aha bestowed THEIR blessing upon this arcadia.

Overview

Planarcadia is a celestial body located within the Consternation Starzone. It is the restored form of the ancient world Benzaitengoku, a civilization once renowned for participation in the earliest Phantasmoon Games.

In ancient times, Aha created the imagenae, known as the Phantasmoon, which marked the commencement of the first Phantasmoon Games. These games served as a grand stage for various factions and civilizations, including the Masked Fools, the Mourning Actors, and the people of Benzaitengoku.

This prosperity came to an abrupt end when the Antimatter Legion swept across the Consternation Starzone, reducing countless worlds to ruin. As Benzaitengoku faced certain annihilation, Graphia performed what would later be regarded as a miracle by capturing the entirety of the world within a painted scroll, thereby preserving its civilization from destruction.

In the aftermath of the Legion’s assault, surviving inhabitants eventually returned and began the long process of restoration. Benzaitengoku received support from the Interastral Peace Corporation under the "Worlds Reborn Initiative" and appointed Pearl, a member of the Strategic Investment Department and one of the Ten Stonehearts, as the overseer and CEO of Planarcadia. Using advanced Punklordian aether editing technology, the world was reconstructed and ultimately revived under a new name: Planarcadia.

Approximately fifteen years prior to the current events, the Astral Express was repaired by Himeko, who subsequently assumed leadership as its new Navigator. From Planarcadia, the Astral Express departed once more, continuing its journey among the stars.^[4]

Perdido Station Plaza		Students and office workers rushing to and fro, street artists, talent scouts, part-timers handing out flyers, groups of friends heading their separate ways after dinner... This place is always witnessing small-scale hellos and goodbyes.
Yum Yum Alley		It used to be called "Gluttony Street," but this place is obviously not a "street," and those who manage the arcadia didn't want to encourage "gluttony" among the masses, so it eventually became what it is now. No matter what they call it now, the food at restaurants in that alley is as good as ever.
Nameless Bridge		All the chaos started with a "Let's Name This Bridge!" voting campaign. Humans wanted to call it "Duomension Bridge," ghosts lobbied for "Afterlife Bridge," ploos pushed for "Ducky Bridge," and students advocated for "Pass-the-Test Bridge"... This unremarkable little bridge nearly sparked total mayhem. To keep things from escalating any further, it remains a nameless little bridge to this day.
"@Gate"		Ever since this landmark was built, the citizens have loved the name "@Gate." But local software developers hate it, because the "@" symbol constantly crashes their programs.
@EntertainmentPlaza		Officially called the "Duomension City Civic Activity Center Plaza," but locals habitually refer to it as the "@Entertainment Plaza." There was once an operations manager from the "Cosmicon Collective" who tried to register their account name as "Entertainment Plaza" to fraudulently gain followers. They got banned for it later.
Perdido Station Railway Platform		Perdido Station is Duomension City's intercity transit hub, which naturally makes it the first stop for just about every visitor coming in from outside.

Graphia Academy

Academy Atrium		First-time visitors to the Academy are always awestruck by the artwork in the courtyard. But for the faculty and students who've been working and living here for years, even this magnificent sight has probably become just another part of the scenery.
Main Building Corridor		This hallway's the only route to the gymnasium, so all those sports-loving students have dubbed it the "Youth Boulevard."
School Building Lobby		Dean Seadrake always stands here, watching over every student from on high, which is exactly why so many students can't stand it. Only upon growing up do these students come to suddenly realize: Professor Seadrake truly burned itself out, forging its life into a crystal of devotion poured into their hearts.
Old Campus at Twilight		This place seems frozen outside of time itself, sealed away along with the truth behind it, waiting for someone to brush off the dust and crack it open once more.
Student Dining Area		A gathering spot for students. Rumor has it this is the gossip hub of the entire school. Whoever controls this little corner controls the flow of public opinion.
Art Classroom		In this very classroom sprout those destined to achieve miracles, and perhaps, those fated to bring about catastrophes. Who can say for sure what the future holds?

Dovebrook District

Dovebrook Avenue		Sure, Dovebrook District's security isn't exactly top-notch, but stick to the main roads and you won't run into too much trouble. That said, plenty of little hidden gem shops are tucked away off the beaten path, perhaps worth the detour for a little adventure.
Furbobo Weekly Editorial Headquarters		Near the editorial department of Furbobo Weekly, you'll often spot furbos slacking off and playing hooky, along with detectives shirking their duties. It's basically a "Slacker Wildlife Sanctuary."
Dovebrook Riverside Path		Dovebrook is the mother river of Duomension City. Once upon a time, what flowed through it wasn't just water, but also the endless stream of people's Wishpower. However, starting in 1977 of the Arcadian Calendar, the City Administrative Committee passed a decree prohibiting the dumping of discarded Inspiration into the river, and this spectacle ceased to exist.
Synwish Tower		The Synwish Syndicate headquarters building. On the IPC's official travel warning list, this is the only destination in all of Planarcadia labeled "Extreme Risk, Do Not Enter."
Synwish Syndicate Boss's Office		The office of the Synwish Syndicate's boss. Anyone who barges in uninvited will get socked by the boss on the spot.

Pearluxe Tower

Astral Plaza		Unofficial records suggest that Akivili doesn't actually have a driver's license.
Foxfolio Lookout Cloud Branch		This is the Lookout Cloud branch of the Planarcadia bookstore chain, Foxfolio. It's a pretty standard shop, except that Blurry_QR_Colt is known to drop by now and then.
Harmony Station		According to unofficial history, Ena's favorite flower is the iris, which carries a very specific floriography: "Bad driving leads to sad families."
Reignbow Alley		Rumor has it that the Reignbow Arbiter spared Phantylia from that arrow only because THEY couldn't get her soulful, melancholic eyes out of THEIR mind.
Jubilee Avenue		Tired from the convention? Take a stroll down this street for all your food and fun needs. The only catch is that prices here are marked up several times, typical for a tourist trap.

Seafeld City

Seafeld Station		The main station serving travelers entering and leaving Seafeld City. As a model station for healthy dining, your "entrée" is fully on the honor system. Entry reads almost the same as "entrée," that's it, that's the joke.
Seaside Avenue		Rumor has it that confessing your feelings here rarely has happy results. Because when you're facing the ocean, romance just feels small and unimportant. The Seafeld City Tourism Bureau most likely started the rumor themselves.
Mayor's Residence		The Mayor of Seafeld City's private residence. Judging by its sheer size, "frugal and honest" doesn't really come to mind.
Court of Echoes		A hidden sanctuary tucked away somewhere within Seafeld City. Rumor has it that a sacred vessel crucial to the Phantasmoon Games lies hidden here.
Seafeld Park		A beloved park among local residents, and the perfect place to unwind. For locals, its biggest perk is the lack of tourists. No crowds pointing and shouting nonsense like, "Wow! So many ploos here!"

Seafeld TV Tower

Studio Entrance		The entrance to the TV Tower's Broadcasting Studio. Normally, this place would be packed with fans hoping to catch a glimpse of their idols entering or leaving the studio. They're out of luck most of the time.
Primary Studio Stage		The main stage in the TV Tower's Broadcasting Studio. Normally, one of many hit shows would be filming here, where the producers have nicknamed the "Birthplace of Miracles." But looking at it now, it's probably safe to say that miracles aren't the only things being born here.
Production Zone Corridor		All the TV station's production departments are on this hallway, as is the director's office. Normally, this area would be closed to visitors. But every now and then, an obsessive fan slips in and triggers an epic chase with security.
TV Tower Rooftop		The highest point in Seafeld City. A prime spot for sightseeing and bungee jumping.
Reception Hall		The Reception Hall of the TV Tower is every visitor's first stop. Oddly, this "entrance" to the building sits 233 meters above ground level. Makes you wonder what they're doing with all that space underneath.

Etymology

• Planarcadia may be a combination of planar (two-dimensional) and arcadia.
• The Chinese name for Planarcadia, 二相乐园 Èrxiàng Lèyuán, means "Two Xiang Paradise."
  • 相 Xiàng can translate to "looks," "face," or "phase." 二相 Èrxiàng may refer to the 2D properties of Planarcadia or the two faces of Elation as seen on its mask symbol.
    • 相 Xiàng is a core concept in Buddhism, translated from the Sanskrit concept lakshana (Sanskrit: लक्षण lakṣaṇa), referring to the the characteristics of all phenomena that is manifested externally and imagined on the mind.
    • 二相 Èrxiàng in Mahayana Buddhism refer to two concepts: The two aspects of the bhutatathata, which is the aspect of pure wisdom and the aspect of inconceivable manifestation; and the two aspects of the Seal of One Reality, which is "the essential nature of all dharmas is emptiness, with no own-being that can be found," and "the true suchness of all dharmas are dependently arisen and empty in nature."
